CREATING A WEBSITE

In order to create a website you will first need to purchase a domain name for your site, and sign up with a hosting service for your site. Please follow the simple steps below in order to get started.

1. Contact Us- You can reach us at clay@creativecaddie.com or (859) 536-1656. We will get you set up on the details of your project, give you a price quote, outline ,and set and project completion date.

2. Domain Name-  Go to www.godaddy.com

Search for the name you want for your site. After selecting your domain name, place it in the cart to check out. Skip all the offers at the bottom and select the 1 year offer or default 2 year offer. Forward the email you receive to clay@creativecaddie so we can configure your domain.  We will need your login and password info to access your account.

3. Hosting – Go to www.hostgator.com

Click on Hosting.  Choose the have my own domain option. Select the Baby Package. Forward the conformation emails your receive from host gator after you are done to clay@creativecaddie.com. We will need your login and password info to access your account.
